The Clifton Park Water Authority administers a cross-connection control program to protect the public water system from possible backflow contamination within customer premises. CPWA requires appropriate backflow-prevention devices where required.
Commercial backflow testing: Customers with testable backflow-prevention devices are required to have the devices tested annually in accordance with New York State sanitary requirements. Test data is submitted through VEPO CrossConnex, and customers should provide their VCC number to their certified tester.
